The Readied Child

Ensuring Your Child is Ready to Learn in Kindergarten and the Years Beyond

Heidi Tringali writes and speaks on practical learning readiness strategies to help your child fulfill their God-given potential. As a pediatric Occupational Therapist, Heidi serves children who struggle with the daily activities of learning, playing, and being a family member.

Parenting is full of the unexpected. Through her work, Heidi supports families dealing with unexpected behaviors, unexpected performances, unexpected emotions, unexpected abilities, unexpected reports, unexpected words, unexpected days, and unexpected nights. Throughout her career, she has been given a front-row seat to the transformative process of children growing into their fullest potential, parents learning to view their children through a lens of success and possibilities, and families coming together to celebrate the uniqueness that defines them.

Parenting is hard. Trying to decipher all of your child’s behaviors and actions while getting them ready for the world can be utterly overwhelming.

Parenting is particularly difficult in the first 5 years when advice and opinions are abundant, and confidence is low. When speaking or writing on The Readied Child, Heidi Tringali, MS,OTR/L shares her personal experiences as a mom, a believer, and a pediatric Occupational Therapist. She jumps on your run-away parenting train with you and helps bring it back on the tracks with tools, tips, and tactics that are heart-felt, playful, and both spiritually and scientifically sound. The concept of The Readied Child provides the foundation, the tools, and the next step for all parents to have a successful parenting plan. Her strategies will help your little one be ready to learn in kindergarten and the years beyond.

Using the Learning Readiness approach, parents and caregivers will:

• Transform their parenting plan from rocky to rock-solid
• Transition from frenzied daily survival to a balanced, predictable routine that will ensure their child will be ready for the demands of the kindergarten classroom
• Experience God’s providence through the testimony of a parent, believer, and Occupational Therapist
• Learn a biblically sound parenting plan supported by the guiding words of Paul in the book of Philippians
• Help their child eliminate meltdowns, wiggles, and weak social skills and transform into a child who is regulated, calm, and socially connected
• End unfavorable child behaviors by understanding what those behaviors are really revealing and having sensible ways to respond
• Discover how to replace their child’s blurting and interrupting with the skill of holding a thought
• Lessen the need to yell or repeat themselves by developing their child into a first-time listener
